I have had a sore throat since Friday. At 1st I thought it was strep but the soreness seems to go away and come back. Sometimes it is Really Really sore and other times it is sore but not unbearable. I have been taking advil, which may have helped. I am tired, but I do not really have any other signs or cold/flu. I have not been exposed to anyone that I know off with strep since I have spent the past couple of days at home. I am not positive if it's strep or not, but I know that if you have strep and don’t get treatment it can lead to other problems. So I don’t desire to just wait for it to heal on its own if it is strep but yet I don’t wish to go to the doctor just to be told that it is a virus. I am not certain if I should wait a couple of far more days or go to the doctors.
