I have had a sore throat since Friday. At very first I thought it was strep but the soreness appears to go away and come back. Sometimes it's Really Really sore and other times it is sore but not unbearable. I have been taking advil, which may well have helped. I am tired, but I do not genuinely have any other signs or cold/flu. I have not been exposed to anyone that I know off with strep since I have spent the past couple of days at home. I am not positive if it's strep or not, but I know that in case you have strep and don’t get treatment it can lead to other problems. So I don’t desire to just wait for it to heal on its own if it's strep but yet I don’t want to go to the doctor just to be told that it is seriously a virus. I am not positive if I must wait a couple of additional days or go to the doctors.
